We recognise that every structure exists within a wider ecological network. By understanding the delicate balance among all living organisms, we create architecture that enriches its surroundings, strengthens environmental resilience, and contributes positively to the shared world we inhabit.

Our commitment is to design with intention, build with responsibility, and innovate with purpose — ensuring that the spaces we create serve not only people, but the broader community of life that depends on them.

We believe the built environment has a responsibility to the world it occupies. Every project — however modest — is an opportunity to improve a street, a neighbourhood, a life.

Megaplan was founded on the conviction that rigorous design thinking and deep regulatory knowledge are not in tension — they are complementary. The best outcomes come from practices that understand both.

With more than a decade of practice behind us, we continue to invest in the tools, knowledge, and relationships that allow us to deliver exceptional work for every client, on every project.

We are a small practice by design. Every project is led personally by Mike Bustos, with no handoff to junior staff. Clients get direct access to the person responsible for their project from first call to final sign-off.

Our work spans residential extensions and loft conversions through to commercial fit-outs, conservation area projects, and international commissions. The common thread is a commitment to quality, clarity, and accountability.

We are based in London and work primarily across South East England, with selected international projects where the brief and the relationship are right.
